COMMERCIAL ENGINEER
Prepare, review and analyse contract document, including auditing
documents for compliance and offer a legal perspective to all situations
that may expose company to risk in order to enhance company’s
effectiveness and efficiencies in term of minimising such risk in
commercial/contracts.
Requirements: • Min. Bachelor Degree from Engineering • Min. 5 years experiences in contract / commercial management, preferably in Mining industry •
Must be able to demonstrate Commercial Management and contract acumen
and documentation, knowledge and usage of Civil Law in context of Mning
Industry /Construction . • Must be able to direct and facilitate
variation of claims, progress claims, and contractual correspondence
with client and subcontract administration • Requires travel to Project Locations as required • Vendor/suppliers/subcontractor meetings and visits • Interface with commercial/legal service providers • Audits investigations • Risk and exposure due diligence
Responsibilities: 1) Review and analyse contracts at the
Tender stage, giving input to the Bid Manager regarding the contract
composition/legalities and any qualifications required in order to align
conditions to Petrosea contracting guidelines. 2) Drafting formal
letters and attending negotiations of a contractual nature in order to
provide logistical support to Project Managers in resolving contractual
issues with the Client/vendors 3) Organize and manage variations and
claims to their scope of work and successfully negotiate these to
settlement, including a running log of all contractual correspondence to
settlement. 4) Monitor and control contract implementation to
ensure that the Client and Petrosea follow the contractual requirements
of the contract such that Petrosea is not exposed to unnecessary costs
or penalties. 5) Evaluate and analyse all legal aspects of
commercial documents/contracts and manage such to stay abreast of
commercial change/risk
DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER
Proactively support the Project Manager to plan, direct and control the
Project to ensure all Project related activities are conducted SAFELY,
to the required Petrosea standards, on time and ahead of budget, whilst
fostering an atmosphere of Zero Incidents and Continuous Improvement to
promote the ongoing success of Petrosea.
Requirements: 1. Possess the potential to develop into a PTP Mine Project Manager 2. Min. Bachelor degree in mining or sufficient experience to provide the necessary expertise 3. Holder of POM (minimum) / POU (preferred)
4. Min. ten years previous experience in supervising mining operations
(production) and a demonstrable understanding of sound mining practices
and mining equipment. 5. Min. five years in managerial position on a mining project 6. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal 7. Good computer skills, familiar with mining and mine planning software 8. Good communication and strong leadership skills 9. Ability to work in a Team environment under pressure 10. Willing to be placed in any company location. Able to work in a remote location on Roster arrangements 11. Ability to understand and protect PTP’s commercial interests 12. Good understanding of Mine infrastructure requirements 13. Willing to be placed in any Company location and to work flexible hours to meet Project requirement.
Responsibilities: 1) Direct responsibility for Engineering and
Production operations on the Project. DPM shall direct and control all
Engineering and Production functions on Site to optimise production,
utilisation and cost for all mining operations on Site, without
sacrificing safety or standards of work. 2) Review and coordinate all mine planning activities with Client personnel 3)
Foster a culture of Zero Incidents and Continuous Improvements. DPM is
responsible for safety within the mining areas of the Project. 4) Assume responsibilities and authorities of the PM during PM absence. 5)
Proactively support the Project Manager in maintaining and implementing
HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the
effectiveness of the programs and conformance to official standards and
requirements. 6) In coordination with the PM, allocate, manage and
optimise resources (including personnel) to maximise returns and ensure
continuity of operations. 7) Plan and control water management activities to ensure minimal interuptions to mining.
8) Support PM with the mobilisation and establishment of the Project,
including any fleet and infrastructure expansion that may be required
during the Project (including the buildup of personnel in accordance
with approved organisation charts). 9) Actively support the PM in
the control and management of the Workforce, including training and
maximisation of local employment. 10) The DPM should assist in the
preparation and review of Inductions, Training material, Standard
Operating Procedures and similar material to maximise the effectiveness
of the Workforce. 11) The DPM should also participate in the presentation of materials and the assessment of employees. 12) Preparation and implementation of Project Budgets and Forecasts in conjunction with the PM.
13) Coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will support
the achievement of Project aims and the support of Project objectives.
14) Manage the preparation of Claims, Variations, Monthly Reports and
documentation related to disputes with Client / Suppliers. Support PM
as required in any negotiations with Client / Suppliers. 15) Manage
all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the
Project and ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid. 16) Support the PM in the implementation and recording of Strategic Initiatives 17)
Assist PM to establish, maintain and manage all stakeholders interests
to ensure harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial
relations and community relations in all aspects of the project.
18) Support the PM in any other way deemed beneficial to the Project or
the ongoing success of PTP. The PM may assign additional
responsibilities within the limits of Company Policy. 19)
Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental
Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to
official standard and requirements.
GEOLOGIST (Placement : Jakarta)
Responsible for geological and geo-technical support that is provide to
the mining engineering and mining sections and to ensure that all
planning and scheduling is based on an accurate understanding of the
nature of the reserves and that operations are performing in accordance
to client’s quality control expectations.
Requirements: 1. Min. 3 years experiences in Geologist 2. Fluent in English, written and verbal, 3. Willing to be placed in all project locations 4. Able to do Pit Optimisations 5. Able to use mining software for geological module 6. Required to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines
Responsibilities: 1) Responsible for the collection,
validation, and processing of all necessary geological information to
interpolate and define the basic geological model. 2) Facilitate the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a set of standard operating procedures. 3) Responsible for the establishment of quality and grade control procedures to monitor and reconcile product quality.
4) Ensure that geologist are closely monitoring work practices and face
locations to ensure that operations are guided through any geological
discontuinities. 5) Mantain a strong capability in the mine planning software.
6) Coach and mentor mining engineers, geologist and supervisors to
ensure that they are understand in the geological nature of the
mineral/ore deposit that is being mined. 7) Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing reserve estimations and other advice needed by the Lead Estimator.
GEOTECH ENGINEER (Placement : Jakarta)
Provide professional advice in the field of Geotechnics to ensure
efficient project delivery to internal and external clients, which
involves a focus on analytical analysis and reporting for geotechnical
design works including slope stability, foundations, retaining
structures and ground improvements.
Requirements: 1. Min Bachelor degree of Geotechnical Engineering from a reputable university. 2. Min 2 (two) years working experience in related position in Mining Industry. 3. Good knowledge of rock slope engineering, underground openings, slope stability and retaining walls. 4. Good technical writing skills and contractual awareness 5. Good interpersonal skills. 6. Fluent in English and Bahasa, both oral and written. 7. Willing to be placed in Site Project and travel to others as requested. 8. Required to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities: 1. Prepare engineering calculations, reports and specifications for foundations to structures including: • Soil interpretation from geotechnical reports • Pile axial capacity and drivability • Pile installation studies including stick-up checks • Pile driving and in-place fatigue assessment • Pile sleeve grouted connection design 2. Mud mat bearing/sliding capacity, settlement, skirt penetration and on-bottom stability analyses 3. Prepare data files, performing analyses and post-processing of data from structural analysis programs.
4. Provide routine support duties in all exploration functions
including creation of cross-sections, digitized maps, PowerPoint slides,
montages, charts and reports as required. 5. Gather and analyze data from internal and external databases to support geoscience efforts. 6.
Coordinate geologic data on company and partner drilling wells,
including interfacing with vendors to assure data is provided in a
timely and accurate fashion. 7. File, retrieve, create and maintain geological data (including Paleo Tops data). 8. Load and update well data and well locations in existing databases using appropriate software. 9. Generate and compile information required for government regulatory compliance. 10. Assist with the generation and compilation of team presentation materials.

LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER (MECHANICAL)
Direct and control the Mechanical / Piping engineering unit by providing
leadership and support to the people in the unit to ensure that
schedules, budgets and manhours are achieved comply with company and
client standards and procedures.
Requirement: • Min Bachelor degree preferably in Engineering • Technically skilled, excellence computer skil • 8-10 years experiences in rotating equipment design (preferably conveyors) • Can manage small design team • Ability to handle mechanical and piping, process design and process engineering
Responsibilities: 1. Analyze and review the quality of
estimates produced by the Mechanical and Piping Engineering disciplines
to ensure Engineering estimates are accurate, complete and deliver on
time. 2. Plan, direct and review design activities produced by
Mechanical and Piping Engineering disciplines to ensure designs are fit
for purpose comply with budget, client and industry specifications in
timely manner delivered. 3. Analyze and review contract to ensure
the overall contract are comply with the scope of work and contract
terms and conditions as they apply to mechanical and piping engineering.
4. Develop and maintain Mechanical and Piping Engineering
resources including coordinate the allocation of design work within the
disciplines group to ensure timely and efficient production of quality
designs. 5. Control and coordinate the development of new ideas,
methods and innovative designs through the application of quality,
competitive mechanical and piping engineering in order to improve the
company’s marketability, efficiency and profitability. 6.
Establish, review and promote the Development Program for staff and
graduate engineer, in order to develop and enhance their performance and
motivation. 7. Establish and review timely progress report for
Mechanical and Piping engineering activities for further analyze by
Engineering Manager. 8. Maintain and implementing HSE programs
including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of
the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
Lead Engineer – Geology & Pit Optimisation
Lead the geology and pit optimisation teams to provide technical
guidance on complex projects, and to ensure that all designs, geological
modelling, and pit optimisation are based on an accurate understanding
of the nature of the reserves and that operations are performing in
accordance to client’s quality control expectations.
Requirements: 1. Min. Bachelor Degree of Mining Engineering 2.
Min. 5 (five) years of working experience, out of which 2 (two) years
as a Senior Geologist or Senior Mining Engineer or at least a
Supervisory level in Mining industry 3. Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software, such as Mincom, MineScape, Gemcom, Minex 4. Experience in open pit optimisation, pit design, and production scheduling 5. Experience in geological and resource modelling 6.
Proven capacity in preparing and updating reserves technical reports,
compliance with industry and operational requirements and compiling and
interpreting geological and assay data 7. Excellent communication skills both in Bahasa and English 8. Outstanding leadership skill 9. Competent in using Microsoft Office 10. Required to assist at project sites when needed 11. Required to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines
Responsibilities: 1. Implement continuous improvement
initiatives to the project sites regarding to geology & pit
optimisation and ensure they are incorporated into Petrosea management
system and procedures. 2. Coach and mentor mining engineers,
geologists and supervisors to ensure that they understand the geological
nature of the mineral / ore deposit that is being mined 3. Maintain a strong capability in the mine planning software and ensure that staff are similarly up to date with their skills. 4. Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing reserve estimations and other advice needed by the Lead Estimator. 5. Lead Engineer – Mine Sequence
Lead the mining sequence activities, such as generating 3D designs,
sequence options, and costing alternatives to effectively support the
mining operations to achieve Project Targets, ensure operational
activities are aligned with the Mine Plans and resolve any issues with
Mining Activities and examine the results and choose the most effective
summaries that meets the clients’ constraints.
Requirements: 1. Min. Bachelor Degree in a mining related to Engineering discipline 2. Min. 5 (five) years of working experience, out of which 2 (two) years as a Supervisory level in Mining industry 3. Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications 4. Experience in drill/blast and dewatering activities will be an advantage 5. Well developed computer skills, including Mine Engineering applications 6. Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software including practical application to mining operations 7. Good knowledge of best practices in Mining operations 8. Good analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail. 9. Fluency in English, written and verbal 10. Willing to work flexible hours to meet position requirements 11. Responsibilities: 1. Contribute to the development of long
term schedules for integration into shorter mine plans for utilisation
at Petrosea Mining Operation by utilising Petrosea Mine Planning &
Sequencing software 2. Optimise mining sequences to suit site conditions and types of equipment utilized, with consideration given to: • Mining direction • Mining technique • Dip of coal • Width between seams • Interaction issues • Sump location • Dump progress • Pit progress • Drill and Blast • Blending requirements 3.
Highlight and coordinate drawings required for Mine Operations support,
also coordinate the inclusion of routine samples into geological model
updates. 4. Enter new geological information into the plans as it
becomes available to ensure the assumptions reflect actual site
conditions 5. Monitor pit progress according to mine plan strategies
and schedules and regularly update the topography to ensure it reflects

MINE ENGINEERING MANAGER (Placement : Site)
Plan, develop, implement and improve mine plannning system, procedures
and resources in order to support mining projects in term of technical
services expertise for optimizing company’s mining operation.
Requirements: • Min. Bachelor degree, preferably in mining engineering. • With at least 10 years mine experience and minimum 3 years in managerial position. • Excellent communication both in English & Indonesian. • Outstanding analysis skills. • Strong capability / exposure to mine planning softwares.
Responsibilities: 1. Control, monitor and liase with Project
Managers to foster efficient mining operations through competent
Technical services skills and disciplines. 2. Control, monitor and
liase with project manager in communicate ideas, systems, designs,
procedures and standards in mining operation to ensure the adherence of
those new policies. 3. Develop and monitor monthly reporting format
for the Mining business line and coordinate the timely completion by
all Project Managers to ensure monthly reporting timeliness and conform
with standard format. 4. Provide support to all tenders / proposals
prepared by the Mining business line to ensure the reliability of all
tenders / proposals prior to submission. 5. Coach and mentor of

Senior Mining Engineer
Leadership of Mine Planning Staff and resources to produce short and
long term mine plans and schedules, complete with relevant systems and
procedures that support the mining operations to acheive Project
objectives within budgetary and contractual constraints.
Requirements: 1. Min bachelor degree in a mining related Engineering discipline 2. Min four years experience in mining industry, including at least two years in Mine Planning 3. Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications 4. Experience with drill/blast and dewatering activities an advantage 5. Responsibilities: 1. Proactively develop Twenty Four Month Plans and determine mine infrastructure, fleet and personnel resource requirements. 2. Modification of Plans in line with resource allocations where applicable 3.
Critically review the Client provided Annual Mine Plans (and other Mine
Plans as received) for accuracy, conformance to the Contract
requirements and achievability. Provide alternatives and cooperatively
work with Client to produce the most mutally satisfactory Annual Mine
Plan. 4. Review Client plans and requests to ensure the
requirements defined are incorporated in the works and the
responsibilities allocated under the Project quality system are
understood and implemented. 5. Proactively identify variations to
the Contract and cooperate with the Commercial Team to follow through on
claiming variations. 6. Contribute to the development of the Three
Monthly, Monthly and other short term detailed Mine Plans to integrate

work by providing mine planning and design support as required by the

recommending effective engineering solutions.
WATER MANAGEMENT ENGINEER
Develop all water management designs, produce accurate and complex
engineering calculations and documents to ensure all output are
accurate, consistent and in a timely manner conform with International
Engineering and Safety Standards and codes.
Requirements: • Min Bachelor degree in Engineering • Min. 2 years previous experiences in Water Management • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa, written & verbal • Understanding applications of Civil Engineering Software • Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines
Responsibilities: 1. Design all water management work and
document to ensure all work adheres to international Engineering
standards and codes as well as company’s management system 2. Operate
and control water management software packages and evaluate output to
suggesting changes and improvement where needed 3. Responsible in design & installation of water withdrawal on sites 4. Responsible for permit, design, contracting & install of pipelines to connect water impoundments to well sites 5. Responsible for permit, design, contracting & installation of water impoundments to hold water for frac operations 6.
Provide technical support and technical guidance to associate engineer
