VACANCY PT Batutua Tembaga Raya (BTR), in cooperation with PT Batutua Kharisma Permai (BKP), is the operator of the Wetar Copper Project, a heap leach solvent extraction-electro winning (SX-EW) Copper Project on Wetar Island, Maluku Barat Daya. An SX-EW Plant will start producing up to 25,000 tonne per annum copper cathode from Kali Kuning and Lerokis deposits, with development activities commencing this year. We are URGENTLY looking for suitably qualified and professional candidates to fill the following positions based at site on Wetar Island with roster working system: 5/3 ( five) weeks on following 3 (three) weeks off.
11. 1 (One) Foreman Port General Requirements:
• Graduate Degree in Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 (six) years in experience in the positions.
• Requires excellent decision making capabilities and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to plan, organize work and maintain adherence to policies and procedures.
• Well developed computer skills preferably with a background in Main point systems with Warehousing or materials management modules.
• Competency in English written and spoken.
• Sound understanding of relevant Materials knowledge.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skill.
• Previous experience in mining industry is preferable
• A good team player and capacity to work under minimum supervision.
• Willing to be placed at the Project Site (Wetar)
• No. 7 & 8 will be place at Surabaya Rep Office
12. 1 (one) Metallurgical Manager Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the management of the Metallurgical plant which comprises a copper ore crushing, focus on ensuring a safe operation, management for the process and with optimum production levels within budgeted cost.
• Responsible for initiating projects to improve extraction performance, process improvement and metallurgical accounting.
Key Responsibility:
• Develop and manage metallurgical operations and work practices that maximize operational efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain Metallurgical Accounting, reconcile procedures and coordinate the shipment of concentrates.
• Develop daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for production.
• Set and monitor the operating budget and control systems for all consumables.
• Mentor and provide technical inputs into developmental training of departmental personnel.
• Active involvement in plant decision making process by way of reviewing and monitoring process parameters on a continuous basis.
• Developing innovative and cost effective operating methodologies
Education and level of experience required;
• Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical or chemical or minerals engineering from recognized University. A higher degree will be advantageous.
• Minimum 10 (teen) years of metallurgical experience; mineral processing, experience with over five years at senior management level essential; strong appreciation of environmental management critical.
• Strong computer skills (i.e. MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Exposure to Copper processing would be highly desirable
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Site based / work in remote location experience would be highly regarded.
