Community Investment Program Specialist
Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager, you will be principally responsible for developing, executing, reporting, monitoring and evaluating an integrated and short-to-long term community investment plan/activities for Company s safe, reliable and sustainable projects/explorations/operations in Indonesia. The roles and responsibilities include:
• Deliver a quality community investment plan for different projects.
Asses the non-technical aspects of the projects. Develop an integrated community investment program for the Company that covers essential social activities in areas where it operates or has business activities. Ensure that all activities should help empower local community and authorities, not taking over local authorities roles. Execute, monitor and evaluate the agreed programs. Manage the program s budget. Work closey with Company s relevant departments, relevant local authorities! regulators/agencies, Partners representatives, and relevant stakeholders in delivering the plan. Lead/influence team and third parties to deliver commitments safely, on track and on budget, and in accordance with the Company s values and ethics.
• Build and maintain Company s reputation at respected areas.
Build and maintain quality relationship with key local stakeholders, including authorities, local leaders and NGOs. Support the needs of Company, such as obtaining permits, visits, AMDAL implementation, manpower mob/demobilization, recruitment, etc. Become a main contact for Company in dealing with the key local stakeholders. Regularly promote, socialize and update Company s safety/growth agenda, values and activities. Handle all community-related issues; review and make necessary recommendations to management.
• Provide regular updates/recommendations to Company on local issues/ challenges.
• Comply with required legal and administrative standards to ensure that the program is properly funded and administered.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 5 years field assignment in public affairs or in related field, preferably in the oil & gas Industry, mining, banking and manufacturing industry. Fluent English: verbal communication, reporting and presentation skills. Good understanding of relevant Indonesian laws/regulations. Reliable negotiator, communicator and excellent interpersonal skills.
