Job Descriptions :
• Establish radio contact or other method of contact with Field Operator
• Know the hazards that may he encountered during hot work procedures
• Know the appropriate emergency responses in the event of an incident
• Ensuring equipment is available and ready for immediate use
• Ensuring that the work site area is cleared of flammable and combustible materials
• Ensuring drains are covered and sealed
• Ensuring that guards/barriers/barricades are in place to contain the spark or welding spatter
• Initiating emergency alarm and response should a fire or gas release occur in the area
• Sign the Work Group Declaration section of the Hot Work Permit
• Perform no other duty that might interfere with their primary responsibility during the course of the hot work activities

Job Descriptions :
• Checks and observes on an ongoing basis, the proper functioning of assigned equipment by reading gauges, levels, amperages and recording such findings on a log sheet, identifying the equipment, the specific readings and time and date of occurrence. Informs the Shift Supervisor or Panel Operator of any unusual observations such as noise, spillage, critical gauge readings and leakage, making process adjustments in accordance with instructions from the Panel Operator. Performs hand-over activity at the end of his shift to ensure that his replacement is aware of any condition that require special attention in order to maintain safe and efficient production.
• Checks the pressure and proper condition of all safety and fire equipment in his designated area such as checking of seals and pressure gauges, verifying the condition of hoses and fire blankets, and reporting any abnormal findings to the Panel Operator.Ensures compliance with safe operations procedures, Includes following up and checking the log sheets, comparing with panel readings, reporting to Supervisor any anomalies and making any necessary adjustments such as checking and topping tank levels and adjusting rates. Complies with all safety and fire regulations, including the use of protective clothing and equipment and ensures that personnel working in the area comply with safety procedures. Maintains the area in a clean and safe condition.
• Assists in the preparation for maintenance of assigned static equipment in accordance with Daily Instructions by performing under detailed instructions a number of preparatory activities such as purging of vessels, closing of valves, draining of pumps and cooling down heaters. Continuous monitoring of on-going maintenance activities in the designated work area and commissioning of repaired or maintained equipment to ensure functionality of redundancy.
• Takes and records in both field and local ITR control rooms a variety of parameters as required a variety of readings, such as gas flows, temperatures, levels, flow rates and vibrations, and records unusual occurrences after reporting them to Control Room.
• Starts up, shot-downs, isolates and adjusts flow rates, levels and temperatures on pumps, motor, tanks, loading arms, compressors and flares as instructed. Operates PLC from ITR.
• Manually adjusts or assist others in adjusting a variety of valves governing rates of flow, levels of pressure and chemical feed, to ensure correct output. Takes independent action to ensure the maintenance of specified operating conditions and mixing and adjusting chemical feed, lubricating various mechanisms as required.
• Responsible for the support of Company Safety, environment and Quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to his job as spelled out in Management system documentation policies, procedures, local documentation, Management System Manual, Safety manual and other related documents.
• Carries out other similar or related duties such as assisting Operators in other units during start-up, collecting samples, taking samples to the laboratory if urgently needed; collecting chemicals assisting in fire fighting, etc. Also ensure that all equipments is kept free of oil and grease and that the area is kept tidy during emergencies. Assist with fire fighting in case of major fire.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
1. Completion off HSC (12th Std) education followed by 1 Years formal training .
2. 5 years in plant operations or utilities in the oil or gas processing industry including proper on Job Training (hands on training) in Plant Operation or Utilities.

35. PANEL OPERATOR
Job Descriptions :
• Monitors and controls the oil transportation, distribution, storage and loading system of the Terminal & Export facility checking that system functions safely and effectively and making the necessary adjustments in consultation with Senior Operator in the DCS/SCADA Control System.
• Liaises with Control Rooms of oil producer, n FSP, NG-1, NGL-4, NFGP and Refinery to discuss and resolve any problems in the supply and consumption of oil and liquid to the oil distribution & storage network. Assists the Senior Operator in operating the system.
• Monitors and controls from the Central loading control room the crude oil, Refinery naphtha and condensate loading and ensures the safe and trouble free loading to ships is executedthrough MPB & SPM.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
1. Completion of Secondary Education followed by 2/3 years formal technical training in Process Plant Operation to OND/ONC or equivalent level plus relevant training inSafety & Computer based systems.

36. SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Job Descriptions :
• Responsible for the operation of the facility during the shift and its interface with other parties.
• Shall ensure safe operation and high availability and reliability at minimum cost.
• Plan, organize and control an adequate monitoring and operation with its subordinates, applying knowledge, policies and procedures that ensures the capacity and availability of the plant requirements.

Includes regular monitoring, disassembly, repair and reassemble of equipment, as well as implementation of modifications.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
1. Secondary (12 years) education. followed by 2 years formal course in mechanical.

38. SENIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
JOB DESCRIPTIONS :
• The job exists to provide efficient and quality maintenance of electrical equipment of Gas Distribution facilities. Responsible for ensuring that safe working procedure is strictly complied with, switches are properly isolated, ladders properly secured, warning notices posted etc. Ensures that subordinate technicians strictly follow QP’s safety procedures. Non-adherence to above working procedures will lead to unsafe plant conditions & failure of plant/equipment giving rise to substantial revenue losses.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS :
1. Secondary education followed by two years formal training in electrical high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage switchgear, control protection relays or similar to ordinary national diploma level.
2. Short courses in safety and hazardous area.
3. 15 years minimum experience following formal training/apprenticeship in the installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of a wide variety of low, medium and high voltage rotating, control and protection equipments.
4. To be fully conversant with standards pertaining to electrical equipment and plant installed in hazardous areas and to fully understand fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of sophisticated electrical logic and relay control systems.
5. A minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity would be necessary. Familiar with safety standards and regulations.
