11 MACHINIST
Positions vacant - 2 Nos.
Salary: QR.2500-3400/- per month + OT
Educational Requirement:
• Fluent knowledge of English language (Speak, Read and Write).
• Graduate certificate from High School.
• Trade training certification from recognized institution.
Work Experience
• Minimum five years work experience as a Shop Machinist.
• Ability to perform work normally performed by this craft.
• Ability to safely and effectively opeRate machine tools such as:
1. Lathes
2. Milling machines
3. Surface grinders
4. Drill presses
5. Power saws
6. Threading machines
7. Boring Machine
Job Description (but not limited to)
• Ability to read drawings and instructions to manufacture the parts/systems as required.
• Ability to field measure parts/system, sketch necessary drawings and manufacture parts.
• Ability to maintain records of work performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Understands and apply plant safety standards and maintenance procedures while performing the world work.
• In addition to his normal jobs, he should assist and participate in other maintenance activities.
• Will be subject to in house training on safety, quality improvement tools to participate in Q-Chem continuous improvement.
• Drive Forklift and other mobile equipment as per Q-Chem regulations.
12 ANALYZER TECHNICIAN
Positions vacant - 2 Nos.
Salary: QR.3500-4200/- per month + OT
Minimum Qualifications
• Fluent knowledge of English language (Speak, Read and Write).
• Able to write and express basic ideas.
• Graduate from High School and Graduate of 2-year technical school.
• Trade Certificate from a recognized institution.
Minimum Work Experience
3 years work experience as an Analyzer Technician in a petrochemical, Oil and Gas plant.
Job Requirements (but not limited to)
• Follow plant safety standards and procedures. Be familiar with typical petrochemical plant safety hazards.
• Follow standard maintenance procedures.
• Follow manufacturers troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
• Use and care for test and calibration equipment.
• Implement good housekeeping practices.
• Troubleshoot and repair Process Gas Chromatographs (FID and TC).
• Troubleshoot and repair analyzer sample systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair online analytical equipment - conductivity, pH, Gas Detectors, dew point etc.
• Maintain carrier and standard gas systems.
• Overhaul sample valves and other analyzer equipment.
• Read and use P&ID, Loop, Logic and Electrical drawings.
• Follow ISO procedural requirements for calibration and record keeping.
• Program analyzers for sample times, stream select etc.
• Perform daily plant preventive maintenance procedures.
• Install and modify sample systems and tubing.
• Install and commission new analyzers.
• Work as a team member with operations, technical, and maintenance.
• In addition to his normal jobs, he should assist and participate in other maintenance activities.
• Improve instrument reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
• Participate in company safety and training programs.
• Work as Instrument Technician as & when required.
• Train subordinates &co workers.
• Report on work progress & maintenance activities.
13 PLANNER
Positions vacant - 2 Nos.
Salary: QR.5000-6000/- per month + OT
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Engineer or equivalent in any engineering discipline from a recognized university
• Proficiency in English Language (Speak, Read and Write)
• Understand and follow plant safety standards and procedures.
• Able to write and express complex ideas, instructions and procedures.
Minimum Work Experience
• 6 years work experience in refinery or petrochemical Oil and Gas plant in the same position.
• Should posses strong supervisory background and practical experience in multi-craft supervision.
• Should have a thorough knowledge of pressure vessels, tanks. Columns, Trays, Furnaces, Exchangers and all type of Valves.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment
• Familiarity with CMMS, Maintenance programs, practices and procedures is essential.
• Be familiar with petrochemical plant safety hazards.
Job Requirements (but not limited to)
• Identifies, organizes, and works with leadership from all constituencies of the organization to initiate and lead the information management planning process, to include the development of goals, timetables, desired outcomes, and evaluative methods.
• Ability to lead a team to perform activities with safety and quality.
• Ability to assign scheduled jobs to groups and follow up for completion.
• Ability to write reports and maintain records.
• Ability to analyze and diagnose maintenance problems
• Ability to write maintenance standard procedures and practices.
• Ability to motivate the subordinates.
• Ability to handle problems, counseling and discipline subordinates.
• Reviewing and updating and monitoring of machine history records in MMS
• Development of work requirements and job plans for labor and planned equipment outages
• Scheduling “PM”, and “CM” work order activities
• Supervises work order close out activities to ensure that work order data is complete and usable by Maintenance Engineering
• Assists with SAP functionality and tools required to successfully allow Planners to plan and schedule jobs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
