G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:
SECURITY & ERT MANAGER (HSS 0539)
4 weeks / 2 weeks work roster
This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine and reports directly to DGM Business Services – HSS Department. The function of this role is to manage all aspects of security and emergency response at the Martabe site, including development and implementation of security and ERT management systems, liaison with police, management of guarding contracts, implementation of required training and mentoring and development of subordinates.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. A Minimum of 10 years experience of security management at mine sites or industrial sites.
2. Previous experience in the management of large guard forces.
3. Expertise in security risk assessment, security investigations and electronic security measures.
4. Tertiary technical qualification relevant to the area.
5. Specialist security training is desirable.
6. Experience in emergency response and fire fighting.
7. Good English and competent in MS Office products.
8. Experience of bullion shipment procedures and gold plant security would be highly regarded.
Processing Safety Supervisor (PRO 0536)
This position will be based in Martabe project and reports directly to the Manager Processing – Processing Department. Main duties of this position are to achieve a high degree of safety awareness by liaising with the HSE safety professionals, attending safety meetings, implementing safety campaigns and conducting regular safety inspections in all operational areas.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Minimum D3 in OHS, Mining Engineer or Mechanical or relevant.
2. Minimum Five (5) years experience in the field of safety in processing, mining and or construction industries.
3. Hold a POP Certificate.
4. Demonstrate a sound knowledge in the field of Health and Safety.
5. Knowledge of Mine Safety Act and Regulations
6. Knowledge in the field of risk assessment and risk management
7. Knowledge of incident investigation practices to identify root causes and remedial actions
8. Familiar with processing operation and operational of Heavy rotational Equipment
9. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team
10. Enthusiasm, self-motivation and the ability to maintain direction and achieve work objectives with minimal supervision.
11. Attend related OHS Training as directed by the Processing manager
12.Strong managerial and supervisory skills and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
13. Ability to communicate both written and verbal in English.
14. Competent in personal computer applications including Excel, Word & Power Point
15. Should have a valid driver A license
Processing Training Coordinator (PRO 0537)
This position will be based in Martabe project and reports directly to the Manager Processing – Processing Department. Main duties of this position is to manage training personnel and coordinate the development and implementation of skills training to ensure ongoing progression of all processing personnel.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Hold Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE 40110 or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of training and assessment systems.
3. Development and implementation of A Training Need’s Analysis plan.
4. Development of competency based training plans for processing personnel.
5. Coordinating the implementation of individual training plans.
6. Development ofStandard Operational Procedures as required.
7. Provide valuable training packages and proceed effectively to local work force.
8. Review and maintain current training packages to ensure relevance.
9. Planning & developing strategies for continuous improvement in the process plant performance.
10. Ensuring resources are adequate to develop new training packages.
11. Plan, design and deliver high quality training programmes to meet client needs.
12. Supervision and coordination of the trainer in leading training courses.
13. A minimum of five years experience working within a training environment especially in processing department.
14. Ability to communicate both written and verbal in English.
15. A bachelor degree in Education or Business Administration.
16. Certified trainer or facilitator.
Processing Training Supervisor (PRO 0538)
This position will be based in Martabe project and reports directly to the Processing Training Coordinator – Processing Department. Main duties of this position is to manage, coordinate and deliver training to all processing personnel and to ensure ongoing progression of all trainee’s through their skills matrix.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Hold Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – TAE 40110 or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of training and assessment systems.
3. Implementing and evaluating of a Training Need Analysis plan.
4. Delivery of training plans for processing personnel.
5. Coordination and implementation of individual training plans.
6. Development of Standard Operational Procedures as directed.
7. Development of training packages as directed by the Training Coordinator.
8. Review and evaluation of the current training packages to ensure relevance.
9. Ability to communicate both written and verbal in English.
10. Delivery of high quality training programmes to meet client needs.
11. Must have a high standard of verbal, written and presentation skill.
12. Three to five years experience working within a training environment, experience in process training and delivery is highly desirable.
13. A bachelor degree in Education or Business Administration.
14. Certified trainer or facilitator.
