Requirements:
1. Min. high school with 7 years or diploma with 5 years experiences in Mechanical Engineering
2. Previous experience in field of work, with min 3 (three) years experience in a leadership role

4. Conducts mechanical work to PTP and OEM maintenance standards to help achieve high mechanical availability

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all works performed conforms to Health Safety and Environment (HSE) corporate procedures, and official standards and requirements.
2. Responsible for compliance to weekly and monthly planning, including scheduled work orders, relating to all maintenance tasks set out daily / to help achieve long term maintenance plans and high equipment availability.
3. Monitor and communicate all maintenance work instructions to direct subordinates, in a clear and defined manner.
4. Prepare and submit relevant reporting tasks required in a timely manner, for examples: review and ensure correct details on work orders and regularly submit to planners for closing, ensure backlog parts are ordered.
5. Review and analyse Failures to plant by monitoring trends and report pending equipment failure for correct planning into backlog, advising immediately if equipment is unsafe to operate or high potential of major failure occurring.
6. Monitor and Ensure Work Order information is processed in accordance with EAM print outs and tasks listed.
7. Assist supervisor with issuing disciplinary action and verbal counselling with direct subordinates.

9. Supervise maintenance foreman activities to ensure work is technically correct and performed in a safe and cost effective manner
10. Examine and investigate all time variances from targets projected on work orders, avoiding losses, in both cost and time consumed
11. Monitor PM Schedule implementation to ensure all PM scheduled work is completed in accordance with work instructions and schedules
12. Proactively identify defects and register them via work order to have an appropriate and prompt action
13. Diagnose failure symptoms and determine maintenance requirements necessary to effectively and efficiently rectify them
14. Daily interface and interaction with various supervisors within maintenance to successfully coordinate necessary repairs in an effective and efficient manner
15. Daily review of PRTS (part ready to schedule) and arrange necessary repairs in and effective and efficient manner
16. Daily review of tool keeping practices and regular inspections of toolkits issued to all maintenance crews. Reporting any abuse or neglect of company tooling to direct superintendent
