UNDERGROUND MINING
OPPORTUNITIES
PT Dwinad Nusa Sejahtera, a subsidiary of Australian listed
Sumatra Copper & Gold plc (ASX:SUM), is an emerging gold and silver
producer in the Regency of Musi Rawas Utara, South Sumatra. The
construction of the 420,000tpa processing ,plant is underway with open
pit mining scheduled to start in April 2015 and underground mining in
May 2015. Gold and silver production is on track to commence in the
fourth quarter of 2015.
This exciting new Tembang gold and silver project has a confirmed
reserve of 5 years and is estimated, through further exploration
success, a long mine life is expected.
To support our, underground mining operation, we invite competent and enthusiastic Miners in the following areas of expertise:
• Underground Mining Superintendent (UG-Supt)
• Underground Shift Supervisor (UG-Spv)
• Underground Safety Superintendent (UG-Safety)
• Underground Jumbo Operator (UG-JO)
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 10 years of work
experience in an Underground Mining Operation for UG-Mining
Superintendent and UG-Safety Superintendent.
• UG - Safety Superintendent, must have experience in ERT Underground Mining
•
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in an Underground Mining
Operation for UG-Shift Supervisor and Underground Jumbo Operator
• English skills - both oral and written expression required
In addition to the above, the successful applicants will demonstrate
strong interpersonal skills, high personal values consistent with those
of the company and the proven ability to create, develop and operate
within a team culture. An attractive site, based 2 weeks on 1 week off
roster is envisaged.
