• Engineering Standards: To ensure and that all mechanical equipment is designed, installed, operated and maintained National and International standards or other standards as required and within regulatory requirements including the companys HSEQ system.
To choose appropriate international codes and standards when there are no corporate standards available for any particular application.
To adapt, extrapolate and customise specifications and data sheets from a given set of applicable design practices.
• Conceptual and Front End Engineering: To participate and contribute to the safe and efficient mechanical equipment design for major projects, preparing mechanical rotating equipment and all related utilities concept definition and design, Preparing datasheet, rotating inspection, preparing project scope of work etc. Responsible for lead all rotating equipment procurement process.
• EPCI Support: Provides technical assurance in aspects of mechanical engineering including response to engineering queries, inspection, detail design, commisioning and start up in the execution of development EPCI contracts until facility operation.
• Non Operated Assets: Provides technical support to ensure maximum value is obtained for GOKPL investments and that all facilities are designed in line with Genting Energy codes and standards.
• Preparing AFE and AFE closed out project.
Requirement:
• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering is preferable.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the upstream oil and gas industry is preferable.
• Familiar with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO, ASME B 31.3 Piping, ASME Section VIII Div. 1, and API 661 Air Cooled Heat Exchanger for General Refinery Services, TEMA Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers Association, and API 662 Plate Heat Exchangers for General Refinery Services.
• Familiar with small pumps, packages such as water makers, Sewage treatment, and chemical injection.
• Has a good understanding of HAZOPs and HAZID.
• The Piping and Pipeline Engineer performs all activities related to Piping and pipeline engineering design and review; assist contract in preparing scope of work for bid document for the related piping and pipeline works; assist procurement for technical aspect in preparing bid document for purchasing coating, pipes, fittings and valves and other related materials; assist construction in fabrication, installation and testing of piping works at fabrication/construction site; assist construction during commissioning at onshore site.
• Review and approve any related piping design drawings; other documents such as specifications, data sheet and calculation.
• Prepare scope of works for bid documents for related piping works.
• Prepare technical bid evaluation to assist procurement/ contract to nominate vendor.
• Assist construction in fabrication, installation and testing of piping works at fabrication/construction site.
• Assist construction during commissioning at site.
• Set short and medium term goals for assigned area/s of responsibility, monitors progress of design engineering activity for piping, ensure that objectives are being met on time.
• Apply codes and standards for the project and keep monitor if any changes is required. Keeps field personnel informed of codes and regulations.
• Develop the requirements of 3D lase survey and PDMS for the project to reduce S/D time.
• Conduct routine process evaluations, analysis and or investigations of the project construction, reports and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare reviews, and or evaluation proposals, reports, calculations and drawings as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as may be required by business needs.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering is preferable.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the upstream oil and gas industry is preferable.
• Has a good understanding of piping and pipeline constructability experiences.
• Has a good understanding of 3D Laser Survey.
• Has a good understanding of PDMS software, Caesar II and Auto-pipe software
• Interfacing as a working team with other discipline such as Electrical, Process and Mechanical to ensure that all instrument technical input are able to operate and maintainable
• Provide technical input in preparing, evaluating and reviewing the instrument project documents such as design basis, design criteria, specification, data sheet, cost estimation.
• Design the required instrument control system such as for barge station, metering station, gas pump station and process control devices.
• Responsible for planning, design and construction of instrument system in accordance with company standards and specification
• Analyse the material proposal or offered, contracts content, working instruction, cost estimation and material requisitions for the construction and installation work that specifically related to the control instrument area.
• Prepare the design drawing to establish the new standard for the control system instrument.
• Responsible for maintaining records and preparing final completion reports of instrument project progress in regular basis to his/her direct supervisor and other report as required. Ensure that his/her direct supervisor are kept inform with the project progress or the potential project problems that might occurred.
• Perform non-routine tasks and attends such meetings as directed by the Instrument/Electrical Superintendent or as opportunity presents, in order to meet Company objectives. Ensures that his Superior and other relevant people are kept informed of all major opportunities, developments or problems which will impact on the business.
• Ensure that all activities conducted personally comply with the Company, Genting Energy, MIGAS and Government requirements and regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree (S1) in electrical or electronic engineering is preferable.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the upstream oil and gas industry is preferable.
• Has in-depth knowledge and skills in construction & instrumentation system including pneumatic, electronic & digital control system. Also in Flow, pressure and heat degree measurement of oil field installation devices.
• Has a good design capability of construction and start-up instrument.
• Provide structural engineering support to assist the project achieve HSE, cost, schedule and operating goals during Project Pre Development, PreFEED design, FEED, EPCI contractor selection.
• Develop basis of design, philosophy and scope of work for Pre development, PreFEED FEED, EPCI until operation maintenance
• Assist in review of ITB bid documents and the Basis of Design to ensure that these documents represent the projects technical and operating needs from a structural engineering perspective.
• Assist with the procurement process for structural and pipeline long lead items.
• Assist the construction engineer through fabrication and installation phases.
• Review Contractor Deliverables for compliance with project requirements.
• Review Contractor deliverables for other disciplines to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical support to other disciplines that need Structural input or advice.
• Long-lead item procurement and execution of the EPCI contract through to commissioning and plant operation maintenance.
• Structural responsibility includes Architectural, Naval Architectural, Foundation Design and Structural Design
• Review Contractor Building, road, jetty, etc design for compliance with project requirements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree (S1) in engineering study, legal, or master degree (S2) in project management.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the upstream oil and gas industry is preferable.
• Has a good knowledge in general oil & gas procurement process (contract management), project risk management and also familiar with government regulation related to services contract
• Has a basic knowledge of PTK 007
