Eng. QMS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering from recognized University
• Minimum 8 Years experience in similar works.
• Understanding of requirements of ISO 9001 and equivalent. ISO 9001 Certification process
• Implementation of at least one QMS Project in a large Oil. Gas and Petrochemical industry from start to finish in a time bound manner
• Conversant with usage of PC and thorough working knowledge on MS office. Front page etc.
• Fluent in spoken and written English
Eng. ENVIRONMENT
BASIC FUNCTION:
Provides environmental advisory, support and monitoring services to Refinery business operations to achieve the environmental objectives and targets. Participates in environmental impact assessments and development of environmental controls. Conducts / assists in environmental reviews, investigations, site surveys and audits etc., as directed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
a. Bachelors degree in Chemical / Environmental Engineering or equivalent
b. 7 years experience in environment engineering and management in an oil refinery of petrochemical industry
Eng. CIVIL CONSTRUCTION (Marine)
Should Process adequate experience and knowledge in Construction of Marine works, its steel structures, Oil refineries etc. and shall supervise and arrange for their execution as per drawings, international standards and KNPC specifications but not limited to the following:
• Foundations for equipment, Marine works, Structures, Piling structural Steel work, Concrete, Diving Welding etc.
• Civil works for building etc
• Drainage system, roads, dikes etc
• Off Shore Structures
• Fire proofing
• Review of Contractors scope of work with respect to contractual provisions
• Coordination with contractors or their representative with respect to the progress of work and time schedules and resolves technical and administrative problems.
RELATED EDUCATION :
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized University
RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE :
10 Years experience in construction activities related to Marine facilities in an Oil Refinery Petrochemical Industry with minimum 3- years experience in handling marine contracts. Knowledge of relevant applicable codes and standards. Adequate knowledge in using technical PC – application related to Civil Engineering.
Sr. Eng. PLANNING
PURPOSE & SCOPE (JOB SUMMARY) :
Directs and coordinates the activities of the Maintenance Support & Reliability Team Planning Section engaged in the scheduling, planning and contracting out of all Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument Maintenance work, as per Companys procedures and in providing a planning service to Maintenance Team when required.
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES (MAJOR DUTIES) :
• Supervises and directs the activities of assigned personnel.
• Directs and supervises the preparation and planning of all maintenance programs. This includes, identifying all individual items of plant and equipment and assessing the maintenance requirements in terms of what parts/materials/manpower are required to carry out the work and monitoring spare parts for Company operational plants.
• Provides cost estimate for each individual item of maintenance work.
• Discusses the timing of the maintenance work with the Production Operation and Maintenance Teams giving full consideration to minimizing the operational disruption that will be caused.
• Coordinates the implementation of maintenance projects which involve modification to existing plant and equipment.
• Directs the preparation of technical specifications, bill of materials and scope of work for each planned maintenance activities and liaises as necessary with Contractors site Maintenance Engineers to ensure that the work is properly carried out.
• Liaises with the Corp. Inf. Technology and Operations Groups to implement computerized systems for maintenance schedules, plant history data and equipment failure data.
• Assists in the preparation of annual revenue and EOR revenue budgets for maintenance works.
• Arranges the scheduled inspection of all plant equipment and liaises as necessary with the Inspection and Corrosion Team.
• Ensures that all Company safety procedures relating to inspection and maintenance arc strictly adhered to.
• Actively applies the risk management process in their duties.
• Commits and works to deliver good risk management performance.
• Seeks to improve knowledge and understanding of effective risk management principles and practices through continuing personal development.
• Performs related duties such as writing technical reports and feasibility studies, assisting with the development of graduate engineers, ensuring proper training of assigned personnel, operating PC and adhering to HSEMS rules/regulations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Approx. 15% of time spent standing, walking and examining plant and equipment when making site visits.

a. Education & Training: University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
b. Experience (General & Specialized): 8 years experience of planning and supervising maintenance work in the oil industry.
Eng. PLANNING
PURPOSE & SCOPE (JOB SUMMARY) :
Plans and prepares all maintenance shutdown programs, identifying all individual items of plant and equipment and assessing their maintenance requirements in terms of funds, materials, manpower and ensuring the implementation of planned maintenance programs
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES (MAJOR DUTIES) :
• Directs the activities of assigned personnel.
• Prepares all machinery preventive maintenance programs and plant statutory survey shutdown schedules.
• Reviews equipment history and plant inspection reports and co-ordinates/prepares all relevant technical documentation such as scope of work, preventive maintenance procedures and bar charts.
• Estimates costs and arranges for obtaining all the resources needed for carrying out the planned works (i.e, funds, materials, special tools, manpower). This Includes, monitoring cost during excution and ensuring that work is being completed within the planned time and budget.
• Monitors and follows up the implementation of planned preventive maintenance programs, Major Projects/Repair Works in liaison with various teams, to ensure proper and timely completion of the work.
• Follows up during plant statutory inspection with Maintenance Teams and Inspection & Corrosion personnel and ensures additional works are recorded/closely monitored.
• Implements Companys Computerized System for all maintenance activities i.e, preventive maintenance/corrective maintenance and statutory inspections.
• Controls Maintenance Technical Library, keeps proper history records of all plant/equipment under Maintenance Team control,
• Trains UD Engineers assigned to the section as part of their development programs, and assists in the improvement of knowledge and performance of subordinate personnel.
• Actively applies the risk management process in their duties.
• Commits and works to deliver good risk management performance.
• Seeks to improve knowledge and understanding of effective risk management principles and practices through continuing personal development.
• Carries out other related duties such as arranging for pre shutdown meetings, revising shutdown schedules, operating PC, adhering to HSEMS rules and regulations and all relevant requirements of funds and material.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Approx, 40% of time is spent outside the office when attending to work site for preparing and execution of planned maintenance activities where incumbent is exposed to prevalent weather and environmental conditions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
a. Education and Training: University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline,
b. Experience (General and Specialized): 6 years experience in engineering and maintenance work in the oil industry, including 1 year on site familiarization.
